Our Mission and Services

Hope Coalition's mission is dedicated to preventing substance use among youth and focusing on long-term recovery for anyone impacted by alcohol and drug addiction. We are a grassroots effort initiated by the Henderson County Partnership for Health in 2013 as a community collaborative to educate, evaluate, and implement evidence-based models on substance misuse and underage drinking in Henderson County. We accomplish this by building capacity and creating sustainable plans that are action-oriented and focus on community-level change. 

Today our services are rapidly expanding. By building capacity and creating long-term and sustainable plans that are action-oriented and focus on community-level change, Hope Coalition leads the way in reducing the negative impact of substance misuse through prevention and education.

We work hand in hand with various community sectors to offer programs that support and empower people in their recovery journey, divert youth from becoming court-involved through the Hope Rising program, and make life-saving Narcan available at no cost, just to name a few.

Hope Coalition and The Buzz

Hope Coalition is excited to embark upon a sustainable business by creating a sober social space for individuals and families to frequent in Henderson County. This new space will allow the community to have a safe and relaxed atmosphere in a social environment free of alcohol where one can meet up with other like-minded people away from the pressures of drinking.

Henderson County is currently home to fifteen breweries, four cideries, and seven wineries, with more being added. Although these locations offer space for families to come together, and some may offer non-alcoholic options, none are completely alcohol-free. This is the goal of The Buzz.

All Proceeds Will Go Back Into Hope Coalition Programs

The Buzz is a sustainability project of Hope Coalition that will operate as a social gathering hive where people can come together and enjoy non-alcoholic beverages and packaged foods in a socially friendly environment. Every dollar that The Buzz makes will go back into Hope Coalition to fund our life-changing programs for the indefinite future.
